Terms of Service
The Short Version
Two things sit at the center here: the rules for using this website, and what hiring us as your mover involves. Whatever genuinely shapes a move, the cost, the timing, how your belongings are protected, is settled nowhere on this page. All of that lives inside the signed estimate and moving contract. Take it seriously, and run anything you are unsure about by the office well before holding a slot.
Agreeing to These Terms
Loading this website, or bringing us on to move what is yours, marks acceptance that the working arrangement runs by this set of Terms. Each mention of “Three Friends Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our” points to Three Friends Moving, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and covering West Palm Beach plus the surrounding Palm Beach County. If any part of what follows does not sit right with you, the fitting response is simply to navigate away.
The Work We Do
Whether the trip is a couple of blocks or a chain of states, your things ride in equipment that is ours, touched only by uniformed, screened crew kept on our payroll and paid by us, the whole job coordinated out of our office with one of the three founders on it. Founded in 2012 by Cody Brennan, Marcus Webb, and Danielle Foster, the company operates on FL, DOT, and MC numbers all its own, Florida-licensed, bonded, insured. At no stage does an outside firm step in to take over a move. Whatever carries binding force on a given job, the coverage, the cost, the conditions, ends up inside the signed estimate and contract handed over before move day, never on a page like this.
Quotes and Locked Estimates
Estimates are free. We price from your inventory and the details at both ends, usually verified by an on-site visit or photos you send, and the whole job lands on one flat figure. Once you sign, that figure is what you owe; it changes only if you add items or services, or if an address turns out very different from what was described. Each estimate carries an expiration date.
Locking a Day, Deposits, and Backing Out
Holding a specific date may take a small, refundable deposit that we credit toward your balance. Your moving contract lays out exactly how that deposit comes back and how reschedules or cancellations are handled. Plans change; the earlier you tell us, the easier it is to move things around.
Payment
When payment falls due, most often as the move wraps up, is set by your contract. Booking is where we will name exactly which payment forms are accepted. Balances left unpaid may be routed to collections, with the related costs added on.
Liability and Claims
Every item is padded and logged onto a manifest before it leaves, all of it backed by a written no-damage guarantee; if something is damaged, repairing it, replacing it, or paying out is on us as your contract spells out. Cargo coverage reaches $1M, released value sits at $0.60 per pound by default, and full-value protection runs 1 to 3 percent of declared value when you choose it. Claims go to the office within the window your contract names, up to nine months, as far as the law permits. What we are liable for follows your contract, the valuation tier you picked, and the coverage in force at the time.
What Rests on You
A few duties sit on your shoulders: describe the job honestly, point out whatever is breakable or valuable, make sure each address is workable safely and legally, a route into the building, a lawful parking spot, and secure any HOA sign-offs, gate clearances, or insurance certificates the location demands. Hazardous materials, flammables, and perishables lie outside what we will transport, and any box you seal yourself leaves its contents your responsibility.
Using This Website
Keep your use of this site to lawful ends only. Do not interfere with its operation or poke through sections meant to stay sealed. Everything posted here is owned by Three Friends Moving, so copying or repurposing any of it takes our go-ahead first.
Limits and Governing Law
This website comes to you flatly “as is,” with no warranty whatsoever about its contents. Florida law governs this agreement, and barring a statute pointing elsewhere, every dispute resolves before the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when circumstances require, and any change takes effect once it is posted on this page.
