A full house asks more of a crew than a rental unit ever will. How the Day Runs
The lead walks both houses first and decides the load order. We fill the truck from the deepest rooms out, so the unload roughly matches how you’ll settle the new place. Arriving, the beds go up before anything, and cartons spread to their tagged rooms instead of stacking at the entry. Since the humidity climbs by afternoon and storms move through, crews start early and pace the open truck so nothing sits baking. When a cell builds, we cover the ramp against a quick downpour. Where there’s a freight elevator, we reserve it and file the building’s certificate of insurance ahead of the date.
Beyond a Basic House Move
Boxing your cabinets stays separate until packing is added, and we leave water lines and hardwired fixtures alone. We’ll roll the washer and dryer back into the nook, but reconnecting them is a licensed tech’s job.
Pricing
Flat figures land at $880 to $1,500 for a two-bed and $1,500 to $2,550 for a three-bed; a four-bed runs $2,400 to $3,900 after a quick walkthrough. If a meter suits you better than a set number, the clock opens at $130/hr for two movers over a two-hour minimum and rises to $175/hr for three on a larger home.
